2024 Ford F250

2024 Ford F250 is a Super Duty model that has been successful in dominating the automotive market. In fact, this model is the best product in Ford’s extensive pickup lineup. The 2024 Ford F-250 is an entry-level Super Duty pickup and recently underwent a complete redesign. We don’t expect any significant changes to the 2024 model, as it was redesigned from scratch in 2018.

This generation of the F-250 offers two new engine options, reflecting the truck’s emphasis on capability. A 6.8-liter V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque is standard. Ford offers a 6.7-liter V8 diesel engine with 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque for customers with more demanding needs. Each engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity exceeds 20,000 pounds. Other job site amenities include Onboard Pro Power generators and bed-mounted weighing scales.

On the other hand, the 2024 Ford F250 also competes with several other types of vehicles such as the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, GMC Sierra 2500HD, and Ram 2500 which compete quite closely with the Ford F-250 Super Duty.

If you don’t need the largest towing and hauling capacity available on the newly redesigned Ford F-Series Super Duty range, the F-250 may be the truck for you. Choose an extended cab or crew cab with four-wheel drive and one of the available turbocharged diesel engines, and you can tow up to 22,000 pounds conventionally. The conventional XL cab with two-wheel drive and the standard 6.8-liter V8 engine can tow 4,200 pounds of payload. In addition, Ford offers a wide range of technologies to help you complete tasks efficiently.

Ford knows how you want to get the most out of your new Super Duty. This is why manufacturers offer so many technology features that make towing and hauling simpler. For example, this year Ford is providing Onboard Scales with Smart Hitch technology on the XL and XLT trim levels. This prevents F-250 aircraft owners from being overwhelmed.

Other features include Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist, semi-autonomous technologies that assist with hitting and overturning trailers, respectively. Multiple cameras improve visibility when towing, and the navigation system can even direct you away from roads that are too narrow for your vehicle and trailer.

  • Spacious and luxurious accommodation
  • Excellent figure to transport and carry
  • Many technologies are available to facilitate transportation and transport
  • Four-wheel drive is standard on most variants.
  • The standard 6.8-liter V8 engine on the XL trim is flex-fuel capable.
  • Trailer tongue and payload metering technology is available on XL and XLT models.

2024 Ford F250 Review

2024 Ford F250, America’s trucking leader*, today introduced the all-new 2023 F-Series Super Duty pickup truck and chassis cab lineup.

Redesigned inside and out, each Super Duty is built with unprecedented levels of workability, smart new technologies, and a suite of cloud-based services for new levels of productivity. “From the F-250 pickup to the F-600 utility truck, Super Duty is the badge that America’s hardworking men and women trust to get the toughest jobs done,” said Jim Farley, Ford President, and CEO. “Super Duty customers are builders – the backbone of our communities and economy.

We pour every ounce of knowledge and ingenuity we have into developing the truck of their dreams – smarter, more powerful, full of smart features and technology.”

The 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty is not just the tool of choice for builders; it plays a significant economic role. Super Duty is also the preferred choice for critical industries with more than 50 percent market share in utility, mining, construction, and emergency response vehicles, according to S&P Global Mobility.

The popularity of the Ford F-Series Super Duty also makes it a significant economic contributor to Ford Motor Company, generating more revenue than many Fortune 500 companies, including Southwest Airlines, Marriott International and Nordstrom reported for 2021.

“Super Duty is the name trusted to get the job done, and our customers have helped make it America’s most popular commercial truck, bar none,” said Ted Cannis, CEO of Ford Pro.

“With state-of-the-art technology, including a 5G modem connected to a robust ecosystem of productivity-enhancing software and services, the all-new Super Duty can seamlessly transition from the workhorse to the office of the future.”

  • New Super Duty targets the most towing, payload, torque, and horsepower of any heavy-duty full-size truck, thanks to four engine choices, including a new standard 6.8-liter V8 gas engine and a new high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8
  • First pickup in the US with embedded 5G capability, enabling faster mapping, Wi-Fi, and Ford Power-Up software updates while driving, plus available new Trailer Navigation identifies the best real-time driving route to take based on trailer size

2024 Ford F250 Exterior

The 2024 Ford F250 spy shots have revealed some of the changes we can see on the outside of the new pickup truck.

Thanks to a 2020 refresh, the Super Task seems to receive only minor aesthetic improvements, making it more in line with Ford’s current lineup of pickup trucks.

The front fascia will have some updates, such as a new headlamp design and a sturdier-looking grille and more undercarriage.

Super Duty also seems to be getting an entirely new wheel design for 2024.

While the changes to the exterior aren’t huge, they refresh the design first introduced in a 2020 refresh.

The front fascia is where the biggest change lies in the design of the new headlamp and the updated grille.

Many trucks are under camouflage, so it’s hard to really gauge what other changes look like to the body design and in particular the rear.

While we can see from some spy images the new taillight design, we won’t have to wait long before the full design is finally revealed.

2024 Ford F250 Interior

Although we have seen many spy shots from the outside, none of them stand out from the interior. However, word is circulating that a major refresh is coming for the interior. Something you naturally expect.

The center screen of about 12 inches can be displayed, no doubt the higher trim offers more features such as a digital dashboard.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are expected, perhaps with some luxury offerings from within Ford itself. The interior is certainly an interesting topic of conversation for Super Duty.

2024 Ford F250 Engine

A workhorse built to get things done

Super Duty is defined by its power and capability. The new Super Duty offers the widest engine lineup in its class:

  • A new standard 6.8-liter V8 gas engine, targeting lower torque for starting on steep grades and merging onto the highway more easily
  • A 7.3-liter V8 that targets best-in-class gas power and torque thanks to improved air intake and tuning
  • A 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel engine that has longer intervals between oil changes to run longer
  • New high-output 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel with unique turbo, improved exhaust manifold, and unique tuning that targets best-in-class horsepower and torque

Every Super Duty has a TorqShift ® 10-speed automatic transmission designed and built by Ford, and every chassis cab model comes standard with a power take-off connection to run additional equipment, such as boom lifts and plows. Four-wheel drive is now standard on XLT models and above.

The new Ford Pro Upfit Integration System** (UIS) is a game changer for customers who rely on body kits and ancillary equipment to get the job done, such as utility cranes or plows.

This digital solution gives aftermarket equipment makers better access to Super Duty electrical systems and signals to seamlessly integrate and operate their hardware into the truck’s digital display.

Cloud-based software connects to the UIS so equipment makers can add digital buttons that allow drivers to control their equipment from inside the truck.

The system also allows for a high level of customization* and safety interlocks, such as preventing the transmission from shifting into drive with the boom lift raised.

Pro Power Onboard is now available for Super Duty, featuring more exportable power than any heavy-duty pickup or chassis cab.

The 2.0-kilowatt output can power a Jobsite or tailgate party. Power outlets are accessible in the truck and cargo box, or can be installed in the chassis cab with a special outlet installation kit.

Not just best-in-class capabilities, but also the best all-around experience

Around 96% of heavy-duty pickup owners use their trucks for towing, and with best-in-class payload targets†††and towing‡ for every type of trailer, the Super Duty ensures customers can haul with confidence.

New available driver assistance technologies*** designed to simplify the towing experience and build confidence include:

  • Onboard Scale with Smart Hitch that estimates cargo weight in real-time and provides guidance on trailer tongue weight distribution directly on the center touchscreen, FordPass™ app, or inside the taillights
  • 360-Degree Trailer Camera System that provides a bird’s-eye view of the trailer to make maneuvering in tight spaces easier and with virtually no blind spots
  • Blind Spot Information System for Fifth Wheel & Swan Neck** that can be attached to the trailer to help identify when a vehicle is next to the trailer and show it in the side mirrors
  • Industry-First Tailgate Down Camera and Tailgate Down Reverse Sensing System** includes a new camera and reverse sensor at the top of the tailgate that provides a visual and audible warning when the tailgate is down to make backing up to a dock or attaching a gooseneck or fifth-wheel trailer easier than ever before
  • Pro Trailer Hitch Assist** automatically backs the truck and aligns a conventional hitch ball to the trailer receiver
  • Trailer Navigation plots routes that can be safely navigated with specific trailer dimensions and weights to avoid potential problems with low bridges and tight turns

Our goal was to leave the driver with no blind spots, even when towing the longest trailers,” said Andrew Kernahan, Ford Super Duty chief engineer.

“The camera view provides every angle, from simulating a drone to ensuring customers can see into the back of the truck even when the tailgate is lowered. Riding and towing have never been easier.

There are also new safety and security technologies available that go beyond the camera angle:

  • Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering automatically brakes and accelerates to a predetermined speed and helps keep the truck in its lane
  • Trailer Theft Alert will send an alert through the FordPass app if anyone tries to remove the trailer while the truck is locked
  • Vehicle Security, available with a Ford Pro Telematics subscription, uses sensors to monitor collisions and towing events and sends alerts even when the vehicle is off
  • Fleet Start Inhibit allows Ford Pro subscribers to schedule a time frame when vehicles can be started to increase confidence around fleet operations
  • Forward/Reverse Sensing System assists drivers by pinpointing objects directly in front of the vehicle and warning when objects are near the front or rear of the vehicle
  • Front* and Rear Brake Assist help prevent low-speed collisions to help automatically protect against impacting objects that may be hard to see
  • Full-color head-up display helps keep an eye on the road by showing information right in the driver’s line of sight that changes with driving mode
